Been getting this for weeks. E-mailed you on Sat, 19 Jul 2008 02:52:12 -0500 regarding this, but I did not receive any response. ERROR:planet.runner:HttpLib2Error: Unable to find the server at /archives/category/mozilla/feed/atom via 2 ERROR:planet.runner:Error 500 while updating feed http://robert.accettura.com/archives/category/mozilla/feed/atom [root@mradm02 bin]# curl -I http://robert.accettura.com/archives/category/mozilla/feed/atom curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'robert.accettura.com' [root@mradm02 bin]# host robert.accettura.comrobert.accettura.com mail is handled by 999 mx4.robert.accettura.com. robert.accettura.com mail is handled by 1 mail.robert.accettura.com. robert.accettura.com mail is handled by 2 smtp.robert.accettura.com. robert.accettura.com mail is handled by 999 mx3.robert.accettura.com. You have a DNS problem somewhere. I can resolve it from my home laptop: reed@jarodplus:~$ host robert.accettura.com robert.accettura.com has address 126.96.36.199 robert.accettura.com mail is handled by 999 mx3.robert.accettura.com. robert.accettura.com mail is handled by 999 mx4.robert.accettura.com. robert.accettura.com mail is handled by 1 mail.robert.accettura.com. robert.accettura.com mail is handled by 2 smtp.robert.accettura.com. Until fixed, blog has been pulled from planet.
Strange.. I'm not seeing it anywhere. Can you tell what DNS server it's trying to query? There's 6 DNS servers in 4 data centers. 2 in a primary DC, 1 off-site from the same provider... than 3 secondary servers for the sake of redundancy in various data centers. It's hard to believe all that failed.
Think a DNS server got out of sync... can you check this from mradm02? Testing against all the dns hosts it seems fine.
I think I tracked this down... I'll uncomment since I'm making a round of changes. http://robert.accettura.com/blog/2008/08/17/dns-strangeness-followup/
