User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: 8.0.0b

Kubuntu 8.04.01. Fresh install. Installed in /usr/local/eudora as root. Linked the binary eudora into /usr/local/bin. Have 2 independent pop accounts and one SMTP. Problem exists on all POP accounts. I have verified that I have write access and ownership of the directory ~/.thunderbird/pzsm9lln.default/Mail/LocalFolders, all files in it, and all subdirs and files. Note that I changed this to eliminate the space in "Local Folders". I also verified that there are several G free in all file systems. It does not seem to matter. Messages send without error. I tried Thunderbird and SeaMonkey. They do not have this problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compose email to self
2. Send it
3. Use "Get Mail" button on GUI
Actual Results:
Get a dialog that says "There was an error downloading the following message:" bla bla bla "This message may contain a virus or there is not enough disk space. Skip this message?" If I hit "No", then I get another dialog that says "Unable to write email to mailbox. ... write privileges ... disk space to copy the mailbox." I have plenty of disk space and write privileges.

Expected Results:
The email to be downloaded and sound to be played.
Works fine for me under Linux (though admittedly not tested under Kubuntu). Marking Worksforme.

Please do try the latest beta (http://eudora.com/betas/) to see if it exhibits the same problem for you.
