Here are two examples which demonstrate the problem (Opera or IE do it.)
http://www.wetterzentrale.de/ is not loaded, but
http://www.wetterzentrale.de/index.htm will be loaded.
After this it functions olso without 'index.htm'. (from cache)
This example is not loadable at all:
http://www.ftd.de/technik/it_telekommunikation/:Sch%F6ne_neue_Technikwelt_Mein_Leben_mit_einem_Wackeldackel/396351.html?eid=1061019399787&imgpopup=2&nv=Image1
It functioned in Firefox 2.0.0.14!!

All links are wfm with FF3.01
Try the Firefox safemode and/or a new profile.

Wettercentrale is hard to load but loadable (network connection reset) in both FF and IE. Fell free to seek for support at http://support.mozilla.org
