A big problem is that if you close the download manager that is left open after closing Firefox, the state of my tabs is lost and next time, Firefox starts with its homepage only.
Component: General → Download Manager
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
QA Contact: general → download.manager
I think the problem with the missing "save open tabs"-window while the downloadmanager is open is another bug. But maybe someone can fix both :)
Don't know if this is quite the approach we want to take or not - but we should figure out an answer to the more basic question - is a Firefox session with just an (inactive) download manager something we want? It causes us to behave vaguely like we're zombied and probably surprises users. Moving to confirmed state, anyhow.
