User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 ON TRYING TO UPDATE TO 2.0.0.16 IT DOWNLOADS BUT WHEN TRYING START UP THUNDERBIRD I GET A MESSAGE WINDOW "SOFTWARE UPDATE FAILURE" SAYING ONE OR MORE FILES COULD NOT BE UPDATED. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL OTHER APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED AND THAT YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO MODIFY FILES, AND THEN RESTART THUNDERBIRD TO TRY AGAIN. I HAVE ADMINISTRATION RIGHTS ON MY PC AD I HAVE MADE SURE ALL APPLICATION ARE CLOSED BUT IT STILL FAILS TO UPDATE. CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE OTHERWISE I WILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO MS MAIL. Disable your logitech quickcam if you have one, if that doesn't work, read through the comments on bug 340535.
