Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.2pre) Gecko/2008081104 Firefox/3.0.2pre
I have printed a lot with Firefox, and I have no issues. First, try in safe mode:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
If that doesn't work, try with a latest nightly (in Safe Mode as well):
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla1.9.0/firefox-3.0.2pre.en-US.mac.dmg
If it still doesn't work, then you have a bug. However, if it works in Safe Mode, you have a support issue, and you should ask in the support forums:
http://support.mozilla.com/forum

One more thing I forgot, can you go to the page about:crashes in the location bar, and copy paste your crash IDs into here? They are most useful if you get the crash in safe mode, but are still useful otherwise.

I can't reproduce either with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1

I have no trouble reproducing this bug over and over again. It happens on both my PPC and Intel Macs with 10.5.6 Mac OS X. Specfically, Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120121 Firefox/3.0.5 & Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120121 Firefox/3.0.5. I usually have several tabs open. It does not always happen the 1st time I print or when Firefox has been started recently. It happens when printing to a printer or a PDF (e.g. web receipts folder). Sometimes, the printing happens, but sometimes not. Very frustrating when trying to print a receipt after a purchase and can't get back to that page after loading Firefox again after the crash. Does not seem to care what site or page I'm on.

Then you should have no problem helping with my request from comment 2.

I am using a Mac Book Pro OS 10.6 and I have repeatedly had crashes where I try to print a web page. This doesn't happen every time but it does happen frequently. I have the same experience as comment number four above.

Are you really using a beta version of Snow Leopard?

Why is the status of this unconfirmed?

bob brodie: which bug do you want confirmed? according to comment 7, you have what could easily be 4 distinct crashes, one of which is reported. i'm not really sure what to do about any of them. the first and last ones might be related as they both involve nsPrintObject::~nsPrintObject.
we don't have many engineers who deal w/ printing, when they have time they should be able to find this bug and look at it if they so choose. also, as it happens i don't think that many of our printing devs use macs (or conversely that our mac devs do much printing).

Firefox 3.1B3 - SuSE 11.2 cups-1.3.9-9.16 I am seeing a similar print problem.
Firefox fails and blows up. Poof gone!
The printer seems to work correctly. As a note Opera works on the same page.

This is a Mac OS X printing bug, you may have a separate issue being on Linux. I suggest trying to find another bug on the same issue for Linux, or perhaps starting a new one.

I've actually hit this crash simply by opening the print dialog and then closing it without printing... I usually print to PDF (also crashing) so I highly doubt it is a driver issue. Also, the crash occurs AFTER the printing is complete...

Way too many separate issues in this bug report. The initial one, "printing articles from nytimes.com always crashes", doesn't happen for me on mozilla-central on Mac 10.5.x.
