Downloading multiple files, Download Manager sometimes shows "scanning for viruses" against 1 file & never gets beyond this. All files are in fact downloaded correctly. It's the display that's wrong.
Once this happens, further downloads cause files to accumulate in the display & "Clear List" becomes unavailable. Those further downloads are also downloaded correctly but not reported as such. I have to check their destinations to verify the downloads.
The only way I've found to get the Download Manager working again is to force errors -- eg, by opening the thing when disconnected, so it can't access what it (wrongly) thinks it should still be accessing. I then have to acknowledge an error for each of the files still shown in the list. This is an [expletive deleted] nuisance.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Occurs at infrequent intervals. Deliberate reproduction "to order" not really practicable.

This bug has not recurred in the last 9 months at least. As Firefox has been upgraded several times in the interim, I suspect it has been fixed -- even if only as a by-product of some other mod.
