Bugzilla is pretty bad for technical help, please try http://support.mozilla.com

What version of OS X? according to the release notes FF3 will not run on less than 10.4 so that might be one problem.

His report shows he's using Win NT5.1 which is not supported either with FF3.0.1
Changing the hardware to PC with Win NT
OS: Mac OS X → Windows NT
Hardware: Macintosh → PC
NT 5.1 is Windows XP, however the problem report strongly suggests OSX so there is no need to change.
OS: Windows NT → Mac OS X
