When allowing JS for www.streetview.com on www.streetviewfun.com Firefox crashes.

I'm not sure if that happens with all FF 3.1a2pre, so please verify it.

I think FF shouldn't use THAT much RAM even if StreetViewFun uses a lot of RAM because of the Street View.

A friend of mine told me that it's also like that in Firefox 3.0.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.4 ..

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install NoScript
2. Go to www.streetviewfun.com
3. Allow JS for www.streetview.com
Actual Results:
Firefox loads a bit of the page and then crashes/hangs. You just can killing Firefox with the TaskManager.

Expected Results:
Firefox should use a little bit more RAM than usual but should not hung up.
Here's a screenshot of the TaskManager window: http://tinyurl.com/5qnc2z
Does it crash or does it hang/freezes ?
a crash is not a hang/freeze or does it only use more memory as expected ?
Doyou get the same with teh firefox safemode ?

I'm sorry. It just hangs/freeze and uses more memory as expected.

In safemode it seems to be okay.. So is it possible that it's because of NoScript?
if it works in the safemode then it's caused by an addon.
Disable the addons one by one to find the addon that is causing this.

Resolution: --- → WORKSFORME
Summary: Firefox crashes when allowing JS at streetviewfun.com → Firefox hangs when allowing JS at streetviewfun.com
Seems like NoScript causes this problem. I disabled all AddOns except of NoScript and then allowed JS for this site -> hang.

Then I disabled NoScript too and activated JS in the FF options -> no crash, only a lot of RAM usage (~ 150 MB), but that's normal when it has to show a lot of StreetView windows..

So I guess it's a NoScript-problem and this is not a FF bug. I'm sorry for filling in this (wrong) bug.
This site shows multiple maps.google.com iframes, and the reporter's complaint was skyrocket memory usage, therefore probably dupe of bug 433186.
Resolution: WORKSFORME → DUPLICATE
it was unclear if a crash, a hang or skyrocket memory usage is the problem.
But I'm fine with marking as dupe, verified
