Since firefox3, dragging an image, instead of changing the cursor to a small "dragging" cursor, you can see the actual image you are dragging. This is unusable, as you can't see where you are dropping the image, you have to "guess" what you're doing.

The resized image that is shown while dragging is way too big, an image 3 times smaller whould be more than enough.

But more important is to always let the user see where the pointer is. If you hold the image from a corner you almost can see where the cursor is dropping, but if you start dragging from the center, the dragging image is drawn centered in the cursor, and you can't see anything.

The same happens for example with tabs: it's difficult to thow a tab to the "bookmarks" menu entry, as the tab drawing you are dragging doesn't let you see anything.

Amarok solves this problem perfectly when dragging albums to the playlist, see screenshot attached (sorry about the quality, but taking a screenshot removed the cursor). Ksnapshot also does it exactly the way I think it should be.

Reproducible: Always

Dragging in amarok, the cursor is always visible:

Dragging in ksnapshot, that is the point where I grab the image:

Dragging in ksnapshot, even if I grabbed in the center the image goes to a corner, letting me see what I'm doing:
