User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1a2pre) Gecko/20080818030015 Shredder/3.0b1pre When sending email via a site with a self-signed certificate an error is generated. mail.path.net:465 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed. (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer) None of the buttons I've seen before to allow accepting this as an exception are there, which means its not possible to send email via this SMTP server. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set SMTP server to site with self-signed certificate 2. Compose and send email 3. While some might argue that the sysadmin should fix this, many won't - partly because of the cost of signed certificates. As to its seriousness, its major to me - since I can't send email any more!
