The patch for bug 442424 was only good for iWeb 2.03; it won't work with iWeb 2.04. When I try to load this website:
www.hotwirecoffee.com
I get this error message:
Authentication Required
A username and password are being requested by http://www.hotwirecoffee.com. The site says: "idisk.mac.com"
When I enter my idisk user name and password, the page goes blank and simply says "unauthorized."
The site works fine in Safari and I.E.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter above URL in Firefox browser
2. observe problem
Actual Results:
See details
Expected Results:
Page should load.

Is there a way we can test this? I don't have a password for the site, so there's no way for me to even tell whether this is a bug in Firefox or a bug in the web site.
No passsword has been set for this site.
If you pull it up in Safari or IE, it functions perfectly.
Something I discovered this morning: If I "visit site" directly from iweb, it comes up perfectly.... because it's launching the iweb url, not the *masked/forwarded* hotwirecoffee.com domain.
Perhaps something about the mastking/forwarding process is what causes Firefox to bork?
Giving you my idisk login/password (which is not something I'd want to do) doesn't work anyway: when Firefox asked me for my idisk login and password, I entered them, and it still wouldn't work... after asking twice, it turned the page into a blank screen with one word at the top left: "unauthorized."
I wish I could give you better ideas for how to test!
I'm concerned anyone trying to access my client's site from Firefox will soon begin reporting the problem.
Thanks kindly for whatever you can come up with!
