User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fi; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fi; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Mozilla products tend to update quite often. Over time this leads to pile of obsolete registry entries in the ARPCache (Add Remove Programs Cache) which contains additional information displayed in the Add Remove Programs dialog (size, frequency of use and last used on). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use computer where Firefox and/or Thunderbird have gone through several version updates 2. Open regedit and navigate to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\ARPCache 3. Observe bunch of old Mozilla Firefox (x.x.x) and Mozilla Thunderbird (x.x.x) entries Actual Results: Pile of registry junk. Expected Results: No obsolete registry entries.
These entries are managed by Windows itself... we can look at a workaround to these entries not being removed.
