George, the file to translate is:

I am separating your translation from the main bug because you have a longer deadline given that we have no survey in Greek for September.

Pascal, are you sure that's the right file?
I've already started translating the community_surveys.lang file which i got via svn and it looks like there's a lot of strings missing.

oh, you can translate the one on SVN which actually is more complete indeed, thanks for noticing
What Pascal said. The file from the attachment is a stripped down version of the l10n file containing the minimum UI strings required to run a survey.

If you can work with the svn version of the file, that's even better! We will have then a Greek version of the main page at!

Thanks so much for you effort!

Greek translation of the file

Translation and proof-reading done. I attach the file here, since i'm not sure if i can do svn commit for surveys. Is there any chanse i could see the strings on stage before i change the bug status(just in case i have to make adjustments)?
Yay, great! :)

The staging server can be found at

For your tests, try these URLs: ("regular" survey) (closed survey) (survey uniquely in English - nothing should be in Greek) ("standalone survey - minimal interface)

Also, try submitting your answers to see the "Thank you" message, as well as submitting without all mandatory questions answered to see the "Missing answers" message.

After successful submitting try to take the same survey again to see the "Survey already taken" message.

Regarding the svn: I've put the community_surveys.lang file in We do this for all European languages and use svn:externals to pull the l10n files from's trunk. This way you already have access there :)

BTW: can I ask you to make a small change to your translation as in r18028?

Thanks again!

ok checked
All strings appear ok apart from a couple that seem to be missing from both pascal's file and the lang file. Should I manually add them in the lang file ("Strongly agree", "Strongly disagree", "Rate the importance from 1 (least important) to 5 (most important)", "Least important", "Most important") or what?
Plus, The survey doesn't seem to work well on stage, i get the "unknown error" instead of the "thank you" message no matter the locale i use.Another thing, do we really have to declare that "Mozilla Europe" AND "Mozilla Foundation - Mozilla Europe" is a Mozilla foundation affiliate on the footer?
Thanks for letting me know about this. It seems to be a database connection issue, I'll check with the IT guys.

Regarding the untranslated strings: they are usually provided together with the strings for each survey, so no need to worry about them right now ;)

Great job!
