User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1

This worked on the previous version of Firefox(this morning). It still works on Internet Explorer. The only change is the installation of version 3 of Firefox. I use NIS Identity Safe to remember userids and passwords on many websites. This happens on other websites too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to the web page https://onlinebanking.mandtbank.com/SignOn.aspx
Actual Results:
Web page prompts for userid and password.

Expected Results:
I expected the userid and password to be filled in by NIS Identity Safe as it was when running the previous version of Firefox and still is when I run IE.
After installation of latest Firefox, NIS (Norton identity safe) does not work for any of my password protected sites. When I log into any saved site, both username and password are required and Firefox does not automatically input any NIS information. This is a major drawback to latest Firefox browser. Sorry i downloaded it.
Same problem. I also updated to the latest version of NIS about the same time so it wasn't clear who was at fault, but these other cases seem to indicate it's Firefox.
Same problem. Works fine in version FF 3.01. I also have the latest updates for Norton 360 and Norton Identity Safe installed. I see this as an issue that will prevent upgrading to 3.5. tThis was initially an issue in v3. Possibly the same issue and bug fix that did not get migrated to v3.5.
Same problem except I am now using Version 3.5. It did work fine in 3.0 and since the upgrade to 3.5 it no longer works.
same problem...this has rendered firefox useless to me
I get the same response as others. Norton IPS 2.0 and Norton Toolbar 4.0 are included in the add-ins list, and I've searched for updates, but the Norton Toolbar does not show up on Foxfire 3.5.3. It did work properly on Firefox 3.0.10; I'm not sure if I had ever installed 3.5.0. When I installed Norton Internet Security 2010 yesterday, FireFox wouldn't even work, so I installed Firefox 3.5.3, and found that the Norton Toolbar doesn't appear.
I just ran into this problem after installing Firefox 3.5.4 today. Firefox and Identity Safe always worked together OK until now. Have updated Firefox several times. Some Windows updates also were installed today. I run Vists on a 1.5 year old HP laptop.
Same problem and comments as others. Can I revert to a previous version of Firefox?
Same problem - Norton Toolbar not compatible. This will prevent me from further updates and/or change to a different browser
Severity: minor → S4
