User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: I went to the Google Accelerator web site. I saw the System Requirements. It said it will work with Firefox 1.0+ and then I clicked Download Now. After I downloaded it I installed it. Then I restarted Firefox. I went to Tools>Add-ons to find it. It said that it was not compatible with Firefox 3. Then I upgraded to Firefox 3.0.1 and it said that it was not compatible with Firefox 3.0.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Opened Firefox 3 2.Went to http://webaccelerator.google.com/ 3.Looked at the System Requirements and say that it needed Firefox 1.0+ 4.Clicked on Download Now 5.Installed Google Web Accelerator 6.Restarted Firefox 7.Clicked on Tools>Add-ons 8.It said not compatible with Firefox 3.0 9.Then upgraded to Firefox 3.0.1 10.Went to http://webaccelerator.google.com/ 11.Looked at the System Requirements and say that it needed Firefox 1.0+ 12.Clicked on Download Now 13.Installed Google Web Accelerator 14.Restarted Firefox 15.Clicked on Tools>Add-ons 16.It said not compatible with Firefox 3.0.1 Actual Results: Not able to use it Expected Results: To actually get it to install and use it since it says that it will work with Firefox 1.0+ about:buildconfig Build platform target i686-pc-mingw32 Build tools Compiler Version Compiler flags cl 14.00.50727.762 -GL -wd4624 -wd4952 -TC -nologo -W3 -Gy -Fd$(PDBFILE) cl 14.00.50727.762 -GR- -GL -wd4624 -wd4952 -TP -nologo -Zc:wchar_t- -W3 -Gy -Fd$(PDBFILE) Configure arguments --enable-application=browser --enable-update-channel=release --enable-optimize --disable-debug --disable-tests --enable-update-packaging --enable-official-branding --enable-jemalloc --with-crashreporter-enable-percent=25
If I understand you right, this is a problem with a Google tool? In that case, you need to bring it to Google's attention, as they are the provider of this add-on. There is nothing addons.mozilla.org can do for you, I'm afraid.
