Upon downloading 3.0 I find that it shuts down my PC after about 3 minutes of opening the program. This did not occur with the previous version of Foxfire. Please troubleshoot this problem and let me know what to do. I've uninstalled all previous versions of Firefox, then re-downloaded 3.0. Same result. I know it's all MicroShaft ****, but I want my Firefox back! A VERY loyal user Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: See above. It happens every time I open Firefox 3.0 with XP. Expected Results: It shuts down my computer.

WFM with XP. Also, can you try in Safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode) and what are you doing before the shut down?
