For the past couple of days, I've seen interface translation circles on the Firefox Support sidebar menu, even if I'm not logged in. In #sumo, someone also reported seeing them, and wondering what they were.
Clicking on a circle will result in a pop-up saying "Interactive translator
Permission denied to use this feature", because the user is not logged in and/or is not a locale leader.
In the attached screenshot, the circles also appear in the breadcrumbs. Not in the screenshot, the languages drop-down menu in the bottom right of the page also had a circle.

See also bug 487138; to reproduce this:
1. Load http://support-stage.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Other+Firefox+support while logged out
2. Click "Log in"
You'll see the translation rings!

Stephen, I can't reproduce your STR. Are there other circumstances when this happens?

It's no longer applicable with Kitsune.
