From bug 42522, investigate localstore.rdf corruption during a crash on exit, etc.
Chris, is this a bug for you, or more of an XPToolkit kind of thang?

I don't know why this bug exists. In my comments in 42522, I explained that bug was not caused by "RDF/XML corruption". Marking INVALID. :-P

Summary: Investigate localstore.rdf corruption → Investigate localstore.rdf mis-use in browser
back to don, this is not waterson's bug per 42522. Someone on browser team needs to take a look.

Which was the mis-use comment? If mine was interpreted that way, then that's not what I meant by "all bets are off". I just meant that if you crash when exiting, you may not reach the persistence code, and changes are not written out (not that they are corrupted).
Uh, nevermind. I see the comment: "The RDF file is not corrupted; perhaps the use of it is. Someone on the browser team should look ..."

Since Don has left, Vishy is taking his bugs in bulk, pending reassignment. thanks, Vishy
