It might be good to see contents of each, but mostly folder names are self-explaining enough. Some other preview method for target folder content might be easier to use, sorting mail from Inbox and loosing view from Inbox on each drag&drop operation to target folder, is frustrating. Maybe just adding one more second on opening target folder would be enough? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In Vertical view, Drag mail from inbox on top of another mail folder 2. keep mouse hoovering, while keeping mouse1 down, on top of target folder Actual Results: Target folder opens to preview Expected Results: No change on folder, some other means of previewing target folder content was expected. Maybe tooltip/bubble containing subjects/from of couple newest messages, to easily visually compare is this correct target folder. Bug 213056 (fantom messages produced)
The current behavior is as designed, so switching from trivial to enhancement, and cleaning up the summary.
It's ~ 1 sec now, and that's quite a long time IMO. I'm not sure why you don't want this? It's certainly needed so one can drag mails to sub folders not currently in view.
Origin of my problem found, MX1000 sent a click on drop. Mouse changed. Problem solved.
