Accessing ANY web page is five to ten times slower than before upgrading to 3.0.

Just clicked the fast / auto update to update to 3.0 without thinking. Shouldn't have.
The new browser is glacial in speed. Every new web page takes at least five times longer to come up than pages in 2.0.0.1 (or whatever it was I was using.
How do I go back to 2.0 version? If I can't, I will need to find another browser.
VERY disappointed in this new version.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open Firefox
2. wait interminably for home page to open
3. wait interminably for any other page to open

I see no difference here. Can you retest in safe-mode?

I "helped" someone on LiveChat with this issue, no extensions. Any other possibilities?

I tried Safe Mode. Still slow as molasses.

Maybe a third party software like a security/firewall/antivirus/antimalware program?
Or you could try a new profile:

If you want to downgrade first export your bookmarks (as html).

I am using 3.0.6 and speeds are now normal. Wondering if I should upgrade to 3.5.
