453088 - recent pages button does not show page list with left mouse clicked in spawned pages

Clicking on "recent pages" down arrow failed to show page list, instead showed icons or empty field only.  Right mouse button shows page list properly. This is a bug not a boon as novice user may not even know there is a right button!   

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open several pages in sequence
2.Press recent pages button
3.thats all folks....
Actual Results:  
icon list with black dot at top

Expected Results:  
icon list with page titles neatly listed at right or left side

Had loaded several themes before reverting to default theme.

After closing xp and restarting, could not duplicate bug. I noticed, however, that frame resize errors were reported by firefox before closing and starting over.  Did not record them but will try to find.

This bug appears consistently in spawned or daughter pages.  The spawning page continues to work properly. The spawned page does not.  Other similar reports of this bug say that the bug consistently appears after some use.  That impression was in a way very similar to my experience but because of the way my home page was set up I had been switching to a spawned page immediately in every case, and immediately closing the source page, I did not realize the pattern of the bug until I accidentally recreated it later.

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
