onMouseOver brings up 2 alert boxes

2000-07-12-13-M17 : Mac
onMouseout & onMouseOver bring up 2 alert boxes

2000-07-12-09-M17 : WinNT & Win98
Works fine 

may be related to bug #9140

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results: 
On Mac I get 2 alerts from both onMouseout & onMouseOver
On Linux I get 2 alerts from onMouseOver

Expected Results: 
On both platforms I should get only 1 alert

Build Date & Platform Bug Found: 
2000-07-12-11-M17 : Linux

Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On: 
2000-07-12-09-M17 : WinNT & Win9 - works as expected

Tested this on a couple of days old Linux build (and NT) and I do not see this
happening. Anyone else? How is the Mac?

Can't reproduce on Linux using the test case. On Mac I get the bug on 
onMouseOver only.
