User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Regression from Firefox 2. The attached HTML code displays correctly in Firefox 2.0.0.14 but incorrectly in 3.0.0.1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. See attached HTML. Actual Results: The second red box stretches to accommodate the width of the <pre> element, making it wider than allowed. Expected Results: The two red boxes should be the same width, and the <pre> element should have a horizontal scrollbar.
Apologies. This HTML file displays correctly in Firefox 2 but incorrectly in Firefox 3. The previously attached file also displays the bug, but in BOTH Firefox 2 and 3.

Not a bug, that is how tables with table-layout:auto behave. See bug 409736 for all the details.
