User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 2008-09-04 The address bar in the newest update of Firefox lists a drop down menu of recent sites visited and older ones that have not been visited in a very long time. No matter what cache cleaning program is used this list is still there. Not good/safe when sharing a computer with someone else. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Drop down menu should have cleared completely in address bar.
The URL Bar dropdown contains the bookmarks with FF3, are you are that you don't see the bookmarks there ?
I got the exact same problem, cleared my cache and even typing in new addresses still leaves the top five results. there is no way to remove them from the drop down address bar.
