Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1

When running Firefox using the -P option, I would like to select a profile every time I start it. Hence I uncheck the "Don't Ask at Startup" box. Firefox starts ok. So far so good. Then I close Firefox. Now I click a link from an email. Firefox does not open. I the try to open it from the desktop shortcut. See the hour glass for a sec. then nothing. I then try to open it from the Run box with -P no dice. I have to reboot to get it to open again. It works fine if I have the "Don't Ask at Startup" box checked.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start with -P uncheck "Don't Ask at Startup" box. After open then Close
2.click a link from an email

Actual Results:
Firefox will not open

Expected Results:
Firefox will not open

Bug is present on two (2) different PCs. One XP Pro and one XP Home....
