Does breakpad, the firefox crash reporter, ever appear? And if so, have you ever submitted your crash reports? about:crashes in the address bar will will list any you have
Version: unspecified → 3.0 Branch
I dont think so but if it did I always report crashes for anything. If this helps windows logged the crash and wrote this info:

Andrew,
Were you able to get a strack trace?
Do you run a firewall?
Is this is always a crash, and not a windows message in task manager or window title of "Firefox has stopped working."
Whiteboard: closeme 2008-11-17
I have not been able to get a strack trace but I can try again if you want. I am pretty sure it is windows telling me this not the firefox crash program. I do have a firewall running. Any other questions I will do what ever I can to help, thanks

My pc is about a month old and firefox have been working perfectly up to yesterday when I started getting the message: 'firefox has stopped working' and then closes down. I haven't changed my firewall or anything like that so I can't think why this only started happening now. Never experienced any problems with Firefox before. In fact, it's my favourite browser. Would rather not uninstall and install again as I've got loads and loads of bookmarks. Any other way to fix this problem? liesier@yahoo.co.uk
