New locales need to have in-product pages used by Firefox listed here:

http://l10n.mozilla.org/webdashboard/?project=0&task=Firefox+3+in-product+pages

Since web pages are a moving target with content and markup changing over time, Pascal will follow up here with the status quo on that.

here is the archive of the latest Firefox 3 web parts to translate
Here they are.
Dewi, the files you provide are not usable, all <> have been converted to html entities like &lt;

Please edit files with a text editor and avoid any tool trying to interpret html/php, thanks
Attached file Corrected files
Sorry about that. The files were 'compiled' from OmegaT.

I hope the new attachment is ok - I've merely search/replaced every &lt and &gt.
main.lang file is not translated at all.

several html tags have extra characters (>) that shouldn't be there, page titles are not translated

Hi. Working on it already, along with bugzilla 464469 - The Getting Started page.
Pascal, has this bug been fixed together with bug 464469?
Attached file Tips page
There is one file to be translated missing, I am attaching it to this bug.

Thanks Rhoslyn. A couple of comments about this file:

At the top of the file there is a coupleof text variables that we need in Welsh:
    Mozilla.Pager.NEXT_TEXT        = 'Next';
    Mozilla.Pager.PREV_TEXT        = 'Previous';
    Mozilla.Pager.PAGE_NUMBER_TEXT = '%s of %s';

(they are used for navigation)

Thanks

Rhoslin, I checked the page in and found some weird things like part of the javascript codes are no longer in the file and some markup changes comapred to the original file. Are you using a regular text editor to edit the file ?

Also, things like that should be translated:
innerHTML="Firefox → Preferences → Privacy"

This is dynamic code that does OS detection and displays what is between quotes depending on if you are on Windows or Linux/MacOS

Same for:
document.write('<div class="key-combo-text">⌘ + click on link</div>');

document.write('<div class="key-combo-text">Middle Click on link</div>');

I know this Tips page is actually a bit tricky :)

Although not crucial, it would also be nice to have the alt="some text" image attributes translated, this is mosly for blind people.
I'd used Dreamweaver to work on the original file, obviously not such a good idea. I've taken a fresh file and translated the parts you mention and added the translation from the previous file. I've checked the file, improved the translation a bit. I used Notpad++ to work on the file. I hope it's Ok now. Thanks.
