User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 From the bookmarks menu, or the bookmarks manager, i try to drag a folder containing some stuff (urls or other folders) directly into the browser. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. open bookmarks menu or manager 2. drag a folder toward the browser window 3. Actual Results: with some folder, an alert appears with a curious text error. The problem does not repeat itself for all folders, and i have found no correlation to reproduce the bug. Expected Results: Draging a folder in a window should not be allowed. An icon of prohibition might appear under the cursor to this moment for example. In all cases, the strange alert message should not appear any cases. I added a link to the alert message obtained by draging a "forum" folder (french)

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080911082840 Minefield/3.1b1pre Confirmed; I see this too. In a new profile with my bookmarks imported I see this only with the Library, not with the bookmarks menu, and only with one specific folder.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
