User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080911105329 Firefox/2.0.0.16 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080911105329 Firefox/2.0.0.16 Now that Bug 454590 has been fixed and the sidebar is at least usable with JIT chrome enabled, the following related crash is possible: Clicking an entry in the history sidebar, while the "By Last Visited" view is enabled, and then closing the history sidebar, the browser crashes. Reproducing the crash is tricky (even when following the steps outlined below), although it is reproducible with a clean profile. Signature: TraceRecorder::record_SetPropHit(unsigned long, JSScopeProperty*) http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/3d1bba80-803a-11dd-be21-001cc45a2ce4 http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/5630388a-803b-11dd-a171-001a4bd43e5c http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/6f933d30-803f-11dd-9be8-001a4bd43e5c http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/a181f019-8040-11dd-93be-0013211cbf8a http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bb2197dc-8040-11dd-a051-001cc45a2c28 http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/d2c96ecc-8041-11dd-b5b6-001cc45a2ce4 http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/2a557be8-8042-11dd-9c0e-001a4bd43ef6 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable JIT chrome and content 3. Have two browser windows open, with NO sidebars open 2. Restart Firefox, allowing your previous session to be restored 4. Using one of the windows, open the History sidebar 5. Change the history view to "By Last Visited" 6. Click one of the history entries to load the website. If you have not crashed at this step, continue... 7. Click the sidebar close button. You may crash here. 8. If you still don't crash, leave history view as "By Last Visited", close the sidebar, restart the browser, and then try again. Have the following: - Java Quick Starter 1.0 (JRE 6 Update 10) - Flash 10 RC - QuickTime 7.5.5

Summary: TM: History sidebar related crashes [record_SetPropHit(unsigned long, JSScopeProperty*)] → TM: History sidebar related crashes [@ TraceRecorder::record_SetPropHit(unsigned long, JSScopeProperty*)]
Keywords: crash
I can confirm this using shorter steps: 1. Enable JIT chrome and content 2. View -> Sidebar -> History (Ctrl+H) 3. Change the view; View -> ? <- try a few times, crashes here as well 4. Close the history sidebar; crash You can also try viewing, closing the history sidebar while a page is loading.
Cannot repo with today's build, both JIT Chrome & Content enabled: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080912031847 Minefield/3.1b1pre Firefox/3.0 ID:20080912031847
@Littlemutt: You're right. No longer reproducible with latest build. Closing for now.
