Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1
This happens every time I start Firefox, much slower than last version, which was no speed demon. (Other than that, new interface is great improvement.)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.click on Firefox icon in dock
2.Wait
3.
Actual Results:
1.click on Firefox icon in dock
2.Wait
Expected Results:
normal browser startup time. eg.: Safari 8 sec; I.E. (a no-longer supported program) 8 sec.
So, we're talking about a factor of 10!! (1 Min 20 sec=80 sec)
started in 8-10 sec. Even 16-20 would be passable, albeit annoying as I start my browser several time a day.

Steven, do you still see this issue, when using current version?

No, it's much quicker, 10 sec to start Firefox when computer has been on, 15 sec when it's been off overnight (something to do w/ caches?)
Anyway, 6-8x improvement in Firefox start-up speed! Way to go!
