User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080912003553 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080912003553 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre This began a few days ago. Maybe four days. I am being forced to compact via selecting the folder to compact then right clicking and selecting compact folder. Before I could quickly perform these functions via th main menu bar for Seamonkey's email client. My permissions are set fine as I use Ice Clean regularly. I update the nightly build every morning hoping this will stop, but not so far. This behaviour is consistent on my iMac 20" Core Duo running OS 10.4.9 as well, same results. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: Cannot compact via main menu bar as it is greyed out, not even an option anymore. Along with 'empty trash' and 'rename' folder. Expected Results: Should compact via the main menu bar options.
Are you using an imap account? if so, I expect this will be fixed by bug 455069.
Depends on: 455069
Yes, I use only imap servers. Is there a fix there, hard for me to understand the nomenclature?
(In reply to comment #2) > Yes, I use only imap servers. Is there a fix there, hard for me to understand > the nomenclature? The fix is there, and has been checked in, it will be available in tomorrow's nightlies.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080920002443 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre It's work fine for me in my IMAP account now. I close this for now as duplicate to 455069. Reporter, if you still run into this problem while using an recent Build, please reopen and submit actual information.
