<http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How+to+contribute> has a "Content may be out of date" warning. Clicking on the "View changes and update currently viewed language version" link, brings me to an editor window without a comparison to the zh-CN version. Clicking on "Save" does not remove the "Content out of date" warning. Also interesting: on KB pages, clicking on "View changes and update currently viewed language version" brings me to an editor with "Complete Translation" rather than "Save".

-->WFM Turns out that a KB article was marked as a translation of that page.

Is this bug only for Contributor pages? Because I can't update (for example) http://support.mozilla.com/de/kb/Cookies (German) with clicking on "View changes and update currently viewed language version". So I cannot remove the "Content out of date" warning on all pages. Also the "Complete Translation"/"Partial Translation" buttons appear rather tan "Save" - or is this intended? BTW, I hope bug 447903 is at fault for the problem, that new created copies of articles in the Staging Area (e.g. http://support.mozilla.com/de/kb/*Cookies ) appear not joined to locale. I can't join it to a locale.
I looked at the de Cookies article. The staging copy did not have a language set. Setting the language allowed me to remove the warning.
