User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.16 (20080708) When I click "get Mail" i get a error message saying the sending of my password did not go through. It will not store my password and takes about 4 or 5 tries of closing Thunderbird out and reopening it to get it to where I can get my messages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.click get mail 2.close out error messages 3.click get mail
This does not sound like an issue with Thunderbird. You can visit http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/ for technical support. also, try in Safe Mode, and check your client and server are properly set up.
Which email provider ? Did you get this always with this email provider or did it started some time later ? This looks like the server is responding with a login error (username password worng). Thunderbird clears the stored password in such a case.
