456012 - slow start opening slow loading pages hanging intermittently only started after upgrading to firefox 3

really slow start,i have 8megs download speed and it's like 56bits,hangs for up to 5 -8 seconds before loading anything this is on and off.all my usual haunts on the web are 80% slower before upgrading to ffox3 they where all flying.how do i go back to previous version?

Just a guess: maybe you can disable IPv6 lookups ?
