Reported as an aside in a few reviews for Brief. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4578 Searching for "Brief" does not find the extension by that name. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=brief&cat=all The FF3 Get Add-ons window also cannot find anything for "Brief".
"Brief" is a MySQL full-text stop word and can thus not be found by the index: Dupe of 447933.
