Description

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1

i am currently working on my website and i am testing it in different browsers.
All is going just well in Internet Explorer, but in Firefox, the flash object cannot open any link in the iframe. it opens the page in a new tab. i've searched webdev forums and my syntax is correct. and it's proven, since it works in IE...
Please do something about this.
this is my html script:
<iframe name="qwe" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%"></iframe>
this is the flash script:
on (release) {getURL("page1.html",qwe);
}

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. :))
2. hit refresh!
3. open page again
4. click the button in the flash object.
Actual Results:
a new tab opens.

Expected Results:
page to be opened in the specified iframe.

i am using a freshly installed firefox, with default setup, no add-ons, no themes

I reckon this is is the same issue I'm having.
I'm developing a Firefox add-on called YouPlayer,
and I am unable to open a video in the iframe.
As a reproduction instruction the following link
will work in a standard Firefox tab:

http://czasnaremont.pl/youplayer/ff.video.html

i.e. a video will play, but when opened in the
iframe, it will not.
I've reproduced this defect in Firefox 3.5.1,
3.5.9, and also in 3.6.3.

By iframe I mean not the HTML element, but the
Firefox's iframe XUL element.
