Page remains blank forever. However Yahoo works with IE. I reinstalled firefox with no effect, i followed the compatibility tip and set it to win2000 with no effect. I dont seem to have a malware according to Kaspersky and Adaware2008. Everytime i try to access tools=>options from firefox command bar, firefox switches off. You can try 3 things: As first step clear the browser cache using tools/clear private data/[x]cache As next step you can run Firefox in the Firefox safemode (just start it without checking a checkbox there) : http://kb.mozillazine.org/safe+Mode and if you still have the problem create an additional test profile: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager
