(no flash, just static pages like zend framework i.e. http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.view.helpers.html ) the interesting thing is that closing it takes 1m30s ! the memory is being freed ~ 100MB/15s . because of that switching from/to FF window takes 3s sometimes and generally the system is slowed down. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. use FF for long time without restart 2. use windows sleeping mode 3. open a lot of windows and close them (i.e. 4 gmail's or something heavily loaded with JS)
Do you have addons installed that could be one of the reasons for that ?
Component: OS Integration → General
QA Contact: os.integration → general
addons that I have: adblock plus colorzilla delicious bookmarks download statusbar febe firebug fireshot web develoepr google notebook ie tab all updated
I know that this is not easy because you need a long time running but could you try it without addons ? (http://kb.mozillazine.org/safe+Mode)
