I just added a new custom field called "bug type".  This field is a drop down custom field, and has values like Defect, Enhancement, Documentation, etc.

Our users will want to search on this field a lot, and it would be really nice if it appeared on the Search page as a multi-select list (beside Status, Resolution, Severity, etc.).

I think there should be an option for "drop down"-type custom fields so that it would automatically appear there.
