User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 SeaMonkey/1.1.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 SeaMonkey/1.1.11 Someone with an AOL account sent me an on-line greeting card, which is produced through AOL in conjunction with American Greetings. When I went to the link in the E-mail message, I was told to download and install Flash. I already have Flash 9.0.124.0 installed for SeaMonkey. I could not access the greeting card. I revisited the link while spoofing Firefox with the UA string indicated below. Then, I had no problem viewing and listening to the greeting card. The spoof UA string was: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 SeaMonkey/1.1.11, NOT Firefox/2.0.0.16 Reproducible: Always The greeting card used Flash to display both audio (music) and visual (animation). No, I did not try to communicate this problem to AOL. I do not have an AOL account. I could not readily find a link for reporting this problem. No, I will not ask the sender of the greeting card to contact AOL. He already thinks I'm strange because I don't use Internet Explorer.

Before I submitted this bug report, I searched for a way to communicate the problem to AOL. I could not find any way to do this. I suspect that AOL's technical help is available only to AOL subscribers after they login. I'm not an AOL subscriber and cannot login.
INCOMPLETE due to lack of activity since the end of 2009. Sorry for the bugspam; filter on "NO MORE PRE-2010 TE BUGS" to remove.
