If I view Google News with cookies enabled and set to "ask me every time", the "Recommended for <account>" option shows up without asking for a cookie (and I don't have a cookie from news.google.com). If I tell Firefox not to accept any more cookies, it doesn't show up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit news.google.com with cookies enabled and set to "ask me every time".
2. Visit news.google.com with cookies disabled.
Actual Results:
1. "Recommended for <account>" section shows up.
2. "Recommended for <account>" section doens't show up.

Expected Results:
1. "Recommended for <account>" section should show up.
2. "Recommended for <account>" section should show up.
Hmm, you want clicking "Accept" in the ask-me dialog to override later setting Firefox to have cookies disabled globally?
Unless I'm mistaken, that's what "Use my choice for all cookies from this site" does. It adds the site to the exceptions list, labels it "Allow", and allows it even when you've disabled "Accept cookies from sites". Cookies aren't disabled, only accepting new ones.
