STR:

1. In a new profile (or at least a new session), set javascript.options.strict
2. Open the Bookmarks menu, scroll down to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder and open it
3. Open either the Most Visited folder, or the Latest Headlines livemark folder

Actual result:

Console spew of a "JavaScript strict warning: chrome://browser/content/places/menu.xml, line 591: reference to undefined property aParentPopup.childNodes[aParentPopup._endMarker]" per item in the folder (only the first time a particular subfolder is opened).

Expected result:

Just the usual, expected console spew from other things ;)
Doesn't happen on Windows. Looks like OS X only.

could be the same as bug 457587, Henrik could you check if this still happens on OS X?
Still visible in my build from 22:00 on 2008-10-11, not in my build from 17:00 on 2008-10-12. You're awesome, but not awesome enough to have fixed it with that bug, more than 12 hours before your first comment there :)

hm, that's cool, hwv i don't see any places related checking in that timeframe...
Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
