Details
It seems that setting a font in a CSS on the <INPUT> tag has an effect on the
size of input fields.
Example:
<html>
<body>
<style>
input.settingfont
{
font-family: verdana; arial
}
</style>
<input type="text" size="10" name="Test1">
<br>
<input class="settingfont" size="10" type="text" name="Test2">
</body>
</html>
These two input fields differs quite a lot in width, although the only
difference is the font-family attribute set in the CSS.

Doesn't sound like a bug to me. The input box has to be big enough to contain
ten capital M characters. When you specify a variabl-width font for the input,
the width is going to be bigger than the same-size character cell font.
