(In reply to comment #3) > Did you already tried : > http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Software+Update+Failed+-+One+or+more+files+could+not+be+updated That’s not the error message I got, although it resembles it. In this case, the message asks me to check whether another version of Firefox is already running (it isn’t). It might have been a corrupted update, I don’t know. I downloaded and installed the full version in the meantime and that went well.
Are any other firefox.exe processes running when you install the Update ? Does this Problem happen when you use the Firefox Default Theme ?
Component: Installer → Application Update
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
QA Contact: installer → software.update
Version: unspecified → 1.9.0 Branch
No, no firefox.exe processes running (I checked in the task manager). Theme used is Littlefox. I updated my other computer today (same theme) and it went smoothly. Looks a bit like the update file was damaged during the download.
Mark, is this still happening?

Not to me no, and I am on 3.0.7 now. I guess this can be closed now.
