User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: Thunderbird app, all e-mails, address books, etc suddenly disappeared from my wife's G5iMac today...it was not found in the trash (which had many old files in it, so it had not been "emptied") Any guesses as to whether or not we did something to make this happen? How do we make sure it won't happen again if we re-install? Fred O'Neal fred@whidbey.com Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1.? 2.? 3.? Actual Results: not applicable
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Disappearing_mail The mails may still be there. Did the whole system crash before?

fred, did you have a look at the profile directory. it will help us to know this, and what preceded the loss, for example thunderbird updated.
