The 'i' and 'l' characters are the most noticeable. The text renders properly on screen, but the printed output (to PDF or a real printer) is bad. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Browse to http://fedoraproject.org 2. Print the page (to PDF or a physical printer) Actual Results: Text spacing is inconsistent making the page difficult to read. Expected Results: Text spacing is consistent with rendered page on screen. I installed Firefox 2 from Fedora 8, and it prints out correctly. I also tested the FF3 build from mozilla.org and it has the same bug as Fedora's build.
Is this bug 454532?
Setting hinting to none did fix the printout text spacing problem, but caused the fonts on screen to become blurry.
