I _did_ search for this, but didn't find anything that resembles. Sometimes, when I need to type my email address in an input text form fields, character/key "@" can't be typed in. I would press correct combination, but it is just not written in a field. However, when/if I type the same combination in a different field and copy the character to the first one, where I wasn't able to type, it works fine. This is not something that happens often, but still on a regular basis. Also, not something that happens on a specific page, but on a different pages. If I restart browser, the same page will accept the "@" character/key. In the beginning I thought it might be a JavaScript, but it would be present with javascript disabled. Deleted my preferences as well, but it would still occur once in a while. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. This happens to me on a stable versions as well, 1.6.x. At same frequency.
We need a specific site where this is reproducible in order to be able to proceed further. Otherwise, about the best I can say is that it sounds like a problem with your keyboard and/or chosen keyboard layout, neither of which has anything to do with Camino (obviously). cl
I think that I mentioned that this is not something that happens on a regular basis on same pages, but still happens once in a while, and only in Camino. I don't think it's related to my keyboard nor keyboard layout. As all other programs works fine, and I never experience anything similar to this. It may not only be @ character, this is just the one I noticed. I can't reproduce the problem at will, it seems to be a random occurrence. Let's say I have a HTML form where I need to type an email address. Sometimes, it works fine until I try to type @-character. When I press combo for it, nothing happens. (I tried pressing several times as well, it just won't accept the @ character, just to eliminate chance that I pressed wrong keycombo) But if I change focus from that input field to another one, then it works just fine. Also, if I reload the page it would work also, in both fields.
Without any way to reproduce this ourselves or any specific site where it happens, this is, unfortunately, going to have to be RESOLVED INCOMPLETE. (The fact that it "only" happens in Camino may well be a function of your using Camino more than any other Web browser, and you just happen to be using Camino when it happens.)
