Similar problem. Only it crashes when I open a few tabs usually two /three or more each having a mail in it. It happens each time i do this. Steps to reproduce. 1. Log into your yahoomail account and go to inbox. 2. Right click on each e-mail and select "Open link in new tab." 3. Do this for four or five or maybe more e-mails. 4. Firefox stops working and displays a message to the effect that Firefox has encountered an error and has to close.
Addition to my last mail. The error described is true for Firefox 3.0.6 also.
This bug was long since marked INCOMPLETE due to no reply on the part of the reporter, so filing a new bug would've been the better route. In any case, now that you're here, comment 1 applies to you too. There are 3 clear steps you should do to investigate here. Add new info or this is still incomplete.
I am having similar issues with my webmail.eastlink.ca account. It works fine for a while then it stops responding. I trying logging in again but cannot get a response. I can get in fine with IE, butthe only way I seem to be able to get back in with FF is to shut it down completely and restart it... not always convenient. This happens frequently.
