firefox 3.0 conflicts not only with realplayer but also stops realplayer from downloading videos, and also causes problems with flash player. Not to mention also causes system crashes on my pc and i'm running a high end gaming computer with 4 gb of gaming ram and 2 9800 graphic cards in sli and so on.
I would be happy to upgrade again to the 3.0 versions once these problems have been taken care of.

Firefox3 doesn't conflict with the realplayer plugin but it doesn't work with the realplayer addon for video downlaoding but that is not our fault.
A system crash is never the fault of a userspace application like Firefox.
A userspace application can not crash a modern OS, only kernel mode drivers can do that. It's possible that you get such a crash only with Firefox but that is still a bug in a driver or system.
I can not see a valid bug here -> invalid
